So the result for TMA1 is in and its 89! Pretty pleased with this but annoyed at myself a bit as I got a very low 4/10 on the evaluation phase which would have boosted my mark further. Got some good feedback on this which I plan to use on further assignments.
Unfortunately I'm now over a week behind in the course thanks to (yet another) sinus infection which is sapping most of my energy meaning I have had to choose between going to work or doing uni work with the former taking precedence as its what pays the bills! However starting to feel a bit better so hopefully it has run its course now, though going to the doctors mid-week just in case. Tomorrow is going to be "catch up day" with regards to uni work so hopefully I can cover lots of ground and not just be too tired to do anything!
I was out "socially" tonight with some of my work colleagues to see Iron Man 3 in the cinema - a real rarity for me (both socialising and going to the cinema - last film I saw was the last Pirates of the Carribbean and before that it was Borat!). I also got to use my student card for the first time! I quite enjoyed the film despite being exhausted after work and am very pleased with how I coped with the whole occasion. Science fiction/comic book based films aren't usually my thing so didn't have high hopes for the film but it was very good and the 3D effect actually worked! Such was my knowledge of Iron Man prior to tonight I asked someone if it was a film about ironing! Hopefully I can grow my confidence from successfully going out without a meltdown and get out a bit more!
Unfortunately I missed the local bus rally yesterday due to work which was a bit gutting but I didn't get too upset which I was quite surprised by as buses are one of my "special" interests. Perhaps I have enough going on to distract me and so my mind is too busy to acknowledge my disappointment? No doubt this will be discussed at length with my Psychologist next week.
Finally blogger is being really annoying and keeps trying to log me out, meaning I have taken ages to write this. No doubt I have forgotten to write half of what I intended.
Until next time!
